For 80 years the Party Shop has been in the same downtown location, 413 N. Jefferson St., in the heart of Huntington. During World War II it was called Schidler's Coffee Ranch and ground its own coffee and made peanuts into peanut butter. It has always centered around candy-- added cards and party goods until the current owners brought coffee back into the picture and took paper products out of the mix. The current owners, Bill and Marcia Zimmer, were for years the Party Shop's best turtle customers.
